Jordan Hall

Hi, I’m a writer, strategist, occasional creative director, and all-around dilettante in Atlanta.

I’ve written humor for The Awl, book reviews for Publishers Weekly, and essays for parody magazines that received coverage in The New York Times, Washington Post,WIRED, and Adweek.

For a few years, I worked in TV and film development. I’ve also scouted books and intellectual property for HBO, Anonymous Content, George Clooney, and Oprah Winfrey, among others.

I once tried to make a documentary about a 63-year old rodeo clown, which went nowhere, and I once wrote a pitch for a documentary about the exotic animal trade, which I forgot about, and which later became Tiger King, one of the most popular series in the history of Netflix. I was uncredited, but only because I’m a team player.
